The going was tough, super tough. Twilight Ultra Challenge was easier, much easier because it was endless loops to just contend with. Sundown Ultramarathon was a beast of it's own, all 100km of it. There were pedestrian bridges to get through, some back alley of someone's house, a reservoir with roads lined with stones and pebbles (ouch to my vibram!), long never ending stretches of Changi airport route but for some odd reasons, for the first time I enjoyed running thought ECP! lol.
Never had I had to really test my patience and mental ability to the max. Emotions ran high in the first 50km and even prompted me at times to just throw in the towel. But it was the great friends that I ran along with that made me stay focus in my mission. And I managed to shave 40 mins off my PB this time. Rest now and the flurry details will come soon.
